Preface

Preparation

  • A 1024*1024 png image

Resizing the Image

  • Export the 1024*1024 png image as a set of icons for iPhone and iPad in all sizes using the “App Icon” feature of https://www.appicon.co

Importing the Image as the Application Icon

Adding the Image Directly

  • Select all sizes of the image and drag them to the “AppIcon” directory in “Assets.xcassets”

Overwriting the Image Directory

  • Right-click on “AppIcon” in “Assets.xcassets” and choose “Show in Finder”

  • Replace the entire “Assets.xcassets” directory

The “Assets.xcassets” directory must contain the “Contents.json” configuration file
